The Holy Scripture: We believe that the Holy Bible as originally written was verbally inspired and the product of Spirit controlled men, and therefore has truth without admixture of error for its matter. We believe that it is the true center of Christian union and the only infallible rule for all human conduct, creeds , and opinions. II Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 1:1; II Peter 1:19-21

The Triune Godhead: We believe that there is only one living and true God, infinite in every excellence; that in the unity of the Godhead, there are three personal distinctions, — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — one in substance and equal in every divine perfection. Exodus 20:2-3; Isaiah 6:1-9; 45:18; I Corinthians 8:6; II Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 2:18; Revelation 22:13

Jesus: We believe in the absolute Deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that He was and is divine as no other man can be, being very God of very God, existing from all eternity co-equal with the Father and Spirit; that He never ceased to be God for one instant and that His humiliation did not consist in laying aside His Deity; that as a man, He was miraculously begotten of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:2638; John 1:1-2; Romans 10:13; I John 5:20

The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with the Father and Son and of the same substance and nature; that He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment, bears witness to the truth, is the Agent of the New Birth and that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies and helps the believer, indwelling every true child of God. John 14:1617; Romans 8:14-27; I Corinthians 6:19-20; II Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30

Concerning the Devil: We believe in the distinct personality of Satan, that he is the unholy god of this age, accuser of the brethren, author of all the powers of darkness and sin, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the Lake of Fire. Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:13; 10:18; H Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2; I John 3:8; Revelation 12:10; 20:2-3,10

Creation: We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, “each after its own kind,” by direct act and not by the process of evolution. Genesis 1:2; 9:6; Nehemiah 9:6; Job 26:7; Psalms 19:1; Proverbs 22:2; John 1:3; Acts 14:15; 17:24; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 11:3

The Fall of Man: We believe that man in the person of the first Adam, was created in innocence and by voluntary transgression fell into sin, thus plunging the whole race into condemnation and death. Now all mankind is born in sin and shaped in iniquity and have become willful, practical sinners. This sinning is by choice, not compulsion, with the first expression of personal choice, not by constraint, but by choice, and are so without excuse before God. Genesis 3; Psalms 14:1; 58:3; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Isaiah 43:27; Romans 3:9-23; 5:10-19.

The Atonement For Sin: We believe that the only escape from the condemnation of sin is through the atonement wrought by Jesus Christ, when He voluntarily took upon Himself a human body and nature, yet without sin, and by His suffering, death, and resurrection, made full satisfaction to the justice of God for the sin of man; that the blessings of this salvation are given on the grounds of grace to all who believe and confess and that it is the immediate duty of all to accept these offers of mercy. John 1:1-3; 3:1-7; 16, 29; 10:11-18; 14:6; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 5:21; I Corinthians 15:3-4; II Corinthians 5:18,19; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 1:7; Colossians 1:14,19-22; Hebrews 10:4-14

Salvation By Grace: We believe that faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition for salvation from sin and this salvation is wholly by grace; that no works, however good, make that salvation more secure. Matthew 1:21; 16:25; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-13; I Corinthians 3:11; Galatians 2:16; 3:11; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7. We believe that all who take Christ as their Lord and Savior are born from above and are eternally secure in Christ. John 10:28; Romans 8:35-39; 10:9; I Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30; Philippians 1:6.

The Church – Universal: We believe that the true Church body (composed of born again believers) unknown to the Old Testament prophets; established by Jesus Christ, who is its sole head; revealed through the holy apostles; empowered and perpetuated by the Holy Spirit; composed of believers in Jesus Christ as Savior, both Jew and Gentile, called out from the world and indwelt by the Holy Spirit; is His body for the service and His Bride for glory. It began with the New Testament saints and will be consummated at the coming of Christ in the Rapture. Matthew 16:18; Acts 1:8; 2:1-13; 41-47; Romans 16:26; I Corinthians 12:12-28; Ephesians 1:22-23; 3:21; 5:23-33; I Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Local Church: We believe that the Church Body universal (composed of born again believers) is manifested through the local church which is a congregation of immersed believers, associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws exercising of gifts, rights and privileges invested in it by His Word; that its officers are bishops or pastors, and deacons; that it has the absolute right of self-government directed by the Holy Spirit and it is answerable only to Christ, and that in all matters of membership, policy, government, discipline and benevolence, the will of the local church is final. Matthew 18:15-17; I Corinthians 1:2; 6:4; 7:17; 11:16; I Timothy 1:1-15.

The Ordinances: We believe that there are two church ordinances; Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water and is properly called “Believers Baptism.” It sets forth in a beautiful and solemn way our faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior, with its effects in our lives of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. Baptism is a pre-requisite to the privilege of church relationship. The Lord’s Supper is the commemoration of our Lord’s death until He comes. Our continual fellowship with Him should be preceded by baptism and always by careful examination. Acts 8:35-39; Romans 6:3-5; I Corinthians 11:23-32.

The Return of Christ: We believe in the bodily, personal, pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ, that He will come before the seven years tribulation period to catch away His church, coming only in the air, and that He will come with His church at the close of the tribulation to judge the living nations and to set up His kingdom on earth. Matthew :25:31-46; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-21

The Righteous and Wicked: We believe that there is a radical and essential difference between the righteous and the wicked; that such only as through faith are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and sanctified by the Spirit of God, are truly righteous in God’s esteem; while all such who continue in impenitence and unbelief are in His sight wicked, and under the curse; and that this distinction holds among men both in life and after death, in the everlasting conscious felicity of the saved and everlasting conscious suffering of the lost. Malachi 3:18; Matthew 25:34-41; Luke 6:25; John: 1:12; 3:36; 5:24; 8:21; Romans 6:17-23

The Resurrection Of Christ: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into heaven, and His presence there for us as our High Priest and Advocate. I Corinthians 15; Hebrews 8:1; 9:24-26; I Peter 1:3-5; I John 1:1-2

The Resurrection Of Man: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the unsaved. Job 10:20-22; John 5:12, 21, 28-29; 11:23; Acts 2:39; Romans 5:12; I Corinthians 3; 6:4; Philippians 3:10-13. Revelation 20:12-15

Separation: We believe that every Christian should be experientially separated from the world unto God; that believers are in the world, but not of it; that the Christian is not to love the world or to be conformed thereto; that he is a pilgrim and a stranger there and should walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 12:1-2; Colossians 3:1-10; I John 2:15-17

The Modern Charismatic Movement: We believe that the Holy Spirit is sovereign in the bestowment of spiritual gifts upon all believers, but that the temporary, Apostolic “Revelatory” gifts and “sign” gifts (such as prophecy, tongues, healing, and miracles) all ceased with the completion of the New Testament and the passing of the Apostolic Age. I Corinthians 12-14; Hebrews 2:3-4.
